As with all complimentary therapies, none of the treatments listed on this website or in any of the training manuals provided are meant to be a subsitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment or care from your General Practitioner or Veterinary Surgeon.
Reiki is a form of energy healing that always helps and never harms.
Any therapy which is offered by Tracy Emms is not intended to replace or act as an alternative to conventional treatments given by a GP or Vet.
Owners of pets are required to advise their Veterinary Surgeon of the intention to use complimentary therapy as a support system to use alongside conventional treatments.
Reiki works hand in hand with the medical and veterinary professions but as with all complimentary therapies, none of the systems or treatments are meant to be a substitute for professional medical diagnosis, treatment or care from a GP or a Vet.
Only a GP or a Vet has the training and expertise to make a diagnosis and prescribe.
Tracy does not diagnose conditions, prescribe medication or interfere with a GP's or Vets Treatment.
If you or your animal are currently taking prescribed medication, do not stop the treatment.
If you have any concerns regarding your own or your animals condition, please speak to either your GP or Veterinary Surgeon.
Tracy Emms is a qualified Reiki Healer in the UK but not veterinary qualified.
Tracy gives healing to animals provided permission has been given by a veterinarian.
A veterinary's referral is required.
If you have any concerns whatsoever regarding your pets medical condition, please consult your vet in the first instance.
Tracy does not accept any responsibility if you choose to treat yourself or your pet using any information from this website or training manuals or attunements.
Attunements will only be given to persons aged 18 years or over.
Veterinary Surgery Act
LEGISLATION
The Veterinary Surgery Act of 1966 amended 1996, prohibits anyone other than a qualified veterinary surgeon from treating animals, including diagnosis of ailments and giving advice on such diagnosis.
However the healing of animals by "contact healing" by the laying on of hands or "distant healing" is legal.
However the Protection of Animals Act 1911, requires that if an animal clearly needs treatment from a veterinary surgeon the owner must obtain this.
Therefore, before treating animals it is advisable to seek assurance from the owner that the animal has been examined by a vet.
To give emergency first aid to animals for the purpose of saving life or relieving pain is permissible under the Veterinary Surgeons Act 1966 Schedule 3.

I will not treat an animal for any illness that has not been properly diagnosed by your veterinary practitioner.
Holistic Healing is not a substitute for veterinary treatment, it can be used alongside orthodox treatment.
